Meet Nadine Ramos & Taina Del Rio, Founders
of Just Blessed
For sisters Nadine Ramos and Taina Del Rio, Just Blessed is a brand built around family, faith,
wellness, and purpose.
Nadine’s story began on Manhattan’s Lower East Side in New York City, where she grew up in
public housing. At just 20 years old, her experience with a keratin treatment sparked an interest
that eventually led her to work with scientists to develop her own formula and launch Lasio
Professional Hair Care, which grew into a multimillion-dollar professional haircare business.
With a background in chemistry, product formulation, hairstyling, and trichology, Nadine
later joined forces with her sister Taina Del Rio, a Registered Nurse whose healthcare
background brought a more holistic perspective to beauty and wellness. Together, they
launched Just Blessed in October 2023.The inspiration behind the brand came from Nadine’s search for a new way to harness the
benefits of bananas for hair. After extensive research and development, she created a
proprietary banana oil blend, eventually building a haircare line designed to nourish different
hair types while focusing on clean and thoughtful ingredients.
Today, the sisters are building Just Blessed around a philosophy that goes beyond haircare: to
be a blessing to others. Their work includes supporting foster families, helping provide haircare
services to people experiencing homelessness, mentoring Latina entrepreneurs, and
contributing to clean-water initiatives.
For Nadine and Taina, Just Blessed is the meeting point between professional expertise and
a deeply personal mission—creating products with purpose and sharing their success
with the communities around them.
