Babba C. Rivera founded Ceremonia to celebrate the Latin heritage she rarely saw reflected in mainstream beauty. Raised in Sweden, she grew up with hair and scalp rituals passed down by her father, a hairdresser from Chile. Those early experiences made haircare a connection to family and culture—one that would later shape her vision as a founder.

Her own desire to restore damaged hair inspired her to revisit those traditions through a modern lens. Combining the rituals of her childhood with a passion for sustainability, Babba created Ceremonia to bring a wellness approach to haircare, blending natural ingredients with clinically backed formulations.

Her mission also grew from a personal understanding of feeling underrepresented. After moving to the United States, she continued to see an opportunity for beauty that reflected the richness and diversity of Latin culture. Through Ceremonia, Babba invites people to embrace their natural hair, reconnect with meaningful rituals and see their heritage celebrated in the products they use every day.
