Esme Mancia is a cosmetic chemist, beauty industry veteran, and the founder of Libertad Vida. With more than 30 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and manufacturing, Esme has spent her career developing beauty products and bringing ideas from concept to finished formula.

Her passion for beauty began with a love of color, creativity, and the science behind the products women use every day. Over the course of her career, she built an extensive understanding of formulation and product development, working behind the scenes to create cosmetics for brands and helping transform creative concepts into high-performing products.

After decades of creating for others, Esme decided it was time to create something of her own. She founded Libertad Vida as a reflection of her experience, creativity, and belief that makeup should be fun, approachable, and empowering at every age.

As both a chemist and founder, Esme brings a unique perspective to Libertad Vida, combining technical expertise with an instinct for color, texture, and performance. She remains closely involved in the development of the brand’s products, from formulas and shades to the final experience.
